In my opinion this glass cleaner cleans better than the store bought kind. It is cheap and super easy if you have all the ingredients on hand. I found this recipe on Crunchy Betty's website. An awesome website if you have the time to check it out!
So here are the ingredients:
Mix all of the ingredients in a spray bottle. Shake well! The cornstarch will settle, just shake it up every time before use to insure it doesn't clog the spray straw(? if that's even what it's called?) Another note, I used distilled water, sometimes if you have hard water it may leave streaks due to deposits in the water. But I had a big jug of distilled that needed using. I know it seems weird adding cornstarch, but here's the thing it sort of acts like a scrubbing agent and makes surfaces that much cleaner! I even use it on my stubborn black appliances. It gets all those smudge marks and fingerprints off. You know what I'm talking about. I find that this doesn't leave streaks. It's suggested to use newspaper to wipe glass. It wont leave streaks, but who gets newspaper delivered anymore? Not this girl! So I just use a microfiber cloth or paper towels. So give this recipe a try and let me know what you think. Do you have any suggestions? Questions? I would love to hear from you! ~Amanda~ May contain affiliate links, see disclaimer. |
