This morning I went out and planted some more bush beans and peas. Then collected seeds from the Morning Glory's and Marigolds, to re-plant in the spring. The tomatoes are coming along, they split a bit from all the rain we got a couple weeks ago. Those wounds have healed and they continue growing.
Here's the bush beans I planted about a 3-4 weeks ago. It's possible to plant in the heat of August, you just have to make sure these little plants get plenty of water.
Upon examining the tomatoes this week I have found THREE Tomato Horn worms. Yuck! I hate these little buggers! They create beautiful moths though. Unfortunately my food production comes first. You see I have a fear of squashing bugs, I don't know if it's the sound they make or the fact that I feel bad about it, I think both. I would always find these guys and toss them to the other side of the yard. Unfortunately this week I wasn't feeling sorry for them.

The peppers are still producing. I even have a random Jalapeno plant that grew from the compost.
What's going on in your garden this week? Post some pictures I would love to see!
