So back to the topic, what have I been doing? Well since I got home on Tuesday,
I still found time to take a relaxing hot bath. So yeah, dear hubby that's what I've been doing. I'm also gearing up to transplant some lettuce, cabbage, broccoli, and brussel sprouts into the garden. I know gardening can seem like a lot of work, if you've never grown before. Try starting out with a couple of plants that your family enjoys. Try adding a pepper plant right into your garden bed by the front door or something similar. Cucumber can be grown along your fence and take up hardly any space when grown vertically. Any comments or questions are welcome, have a wonderful weekend! |
So today I said to the husband, I need to write something on my blog it's been a few days. His response "What have you been doing?" Well let's back track a little, for those of you who do not know me. The more complicated part of my life involves me being a flight attendant and traveling for 3-4 days a a time. I say complicated because it throws a wrench into the life I love which is being at home with my kitties and gardening. Someone asked me at work the other day "How do you find time to grow your own food with this job?" Well I make time and sprinkler systems help. My days off are usually pretty busy, weeding, picking bugs and so on. If it's something you really want to do you will find time for it.

I agree. I figure the more food I can grow, the less time I will spend away from home working for the man. Only gardeners can truly understand how rewarding it is.
