I thought I would just share a few pictures of what's happening in the garden right now. Fall gardening is still new to me, so I'm learning as I go. I'm not complaining about the cold weather and neither are the plants. They enjoy having less bugs crawling around and it's a win, win!
This above is celery. I bought an organic bunch of celery from the store and replanted the base of it. All of this has grown back. It is so tasty a great flavoring for soups and stews. I recommend trying this! Don't throw the celery stub out!
Does anyone else have issues with cabbage worms? They are hard to see, but make so much damage. I use neem oil and diatomaceous earth in the garden, but these guys are so sneaky! Do you have any advice? I would appreciate some help.
At the end of the day a yummy garden salad! Let me tell you this was oh so good for cleaning out the gut! What? Did you not expect me to throw some humor in there somewhere?
So that's the happenings. I just love growing our own food. I hope you enjoy my garden as much as I do. Have a great day!
